Please complete and submit the forms by September 8th, and be sure to read the important policy information included! Also be sure to use our convenient online payment option below. If you need to pay by check please make payable to Visitation Church and write "Religious Education Registration" in the memo). you can either mail them to: Religious Education Registration, 407 E Main St, Eaton, OH 45320, or place them in an envelope marked "Religious Education Registration" and drop it in the collection basket at Mass. The Archdiocese Permission form will need to be downloaded, completed, and emailed back to the Religious Education office at [email protected] . It is not necessary to electronically sign as a copy of your registration forms will be made available for you to sign at Materials Pick-Up on September 9th. At the beginning of the school year, Mrs. Eby's 4th grade CCD class started on an Alphabet Prayer. What is an Alphabet Prayer you ask? A special prayer of Thanksgiving that uses every letter of the alphabet to thank God for His many blessings. We as a class wanted to share it with all of you. Perhaps you will make one too!
A: For apples and all the wonderful things we can make with them. For Aunts who love us. For Angels watching over us. For all the men and women that serve in the Armed Forces.
B: For butterflies and their beauty. For bus drivers, brothers, buddies, best friends, babies. For sweet baby Jesus.
C: For the colors of Autumn, you are the great artist! For cats who keep us company. Caregivers, clothes, children, cousins, and for Christmas time.
D: For our Dads who teach, care, and protect us. Doctors and Dentists. For Dogs as companions. For the beauty and warmth of daylight. For doughnuts!
E: For the Earth, our only home until we reach heaven. For the gift of the Holy Eucharist and looking forward to an eternity to be in heaven with Jesus.
F: Thank you God for our priest, Father David. For our faith, family, friends. For forgiving us even when we do wrong against you. For the blessing of all the Farmers who grow our food. For fall time and the good harvests.
G: For you our God andncreator. For grateful hearts. For gifts, goodness, gladness, grocery stores, and for good health.
H: Thank you God for our homes, our nation's Heros who keep us safe. For holidays, hope, husbands, helping hands, hospitals, healing, for the Holy Spirit, and the gifts of Heaven. For Harvest time.
I: For each individual person you have created. For insturments to make music. The safety of being inside in the cold weather. Ice cream, islands, iguanias, ink.
J: Thank you God for Jesus, our Saviour, for jelly, jam, juice, justice, jumping, judges.
K: For kindness, kangaroos, and for our King of Kings.
L: Thank you for Jesus our Lord. For light, life, love, learning, listening, lunch time, lakes, leaders, limes, Lizzy.
M: For miracles, Mary our Mother, our moms, movies, meat, milkshakes, and mechanics, and music.
N: Thank you God for: Saint Nicholas, night, neighbors, names, numbers, nurses, noon time, nieces, and nephews, and each new day.
O: For oranges, ovens, Oreos, open doors, open hearts, and open minds. For the oceans and all the creatures you have made that live in them. The ozone layer that protects the Earth.
P: For Purgatory so we can prepare to meet You. Parents who care for us. For pianos and piano players. For pop, pinetrees, people, pickles, patience, prayer, peanuts, peanut butter, police, priests, peace, popcorn, pears, and pineapples.
Q: Thank you for the ability to ask questions so we can learn. Quiet time to think, rest, and pray. Quail, Quarters.
R: Thank you for rain, railroads, rivers, rental cars, rabbits, respect, rivals who challenge us to work harder, red pandas, rules, redemption, relatives, reindeer.
S: For sunshine, summer, spring, songs, sisters, snow, sewing machines, sinks, showers, sofas, stars, socks, shoes, suprises, Spiritual growth, sheep, sidekicks, Skittles, Saints, Star Wars shows, soft blankets.
